About us

Most software is sold as a tool. You get a dashboard, some buttons and a tutorial, and the work is still yours. There is an incomplete promise in that: the tool does not solve the problem, it only gets you closer to being able to solve it yourself.

A business owner does not want to learn accounting. They need the accounting done. That distinction — between knowing how to do something and having it done — is the only one we build on. We use artificial intelligence so that the work is done, not to hand you something to do it with.

The field is interchangeable. The domain changes, the vocabulary changes, the rules and the responsibilities change. What does not change is the shape: we deliver the outcome, not the tool.

How that turns into products

Every Genko product takes one concrete job and hands it back finished. Not a workspace to do it in more comfortably. Not an assistant that suggests things and leaves you the hard part. The work, done.

That forces an uncomfortable discipline: the product cannot hide behind the interface. If the result is no good, it is no good, and no learning curve justifies it. We would rather cover less and deliver it whole.

Genko is the brand the products of BeGenko, LLC operate under. They all bill under that same entity. A single Genko account works for all of them: there is no new account to open every time we add a product, and no loose credentials to manage.

We build for companies, professionals and students. To begin with, in Uruguay and Argentina.

What we are working on

There is one product in development today: Legalis, for law firms in Uruguay and Argentina. It is not publicly available yet.

We chose to start with legal work because it is a field where the distance between having the tool and having the work done shows up fast, and where the result is judged without ambiguity: either the document works or it does not. It is a good place to test the thesis before taking it to another field.

We do not announce dates until we have them.
